GED (Available)
The General Educational Development (GED) test is a high school equivalency exam that assesses knowledge and skills in core academic subjects. It is widely recognized as an alternative to a traditional high school diploma.
The GED consists of four main subject tests:
(1) Mathematical Reasoning – Covers algebra, geometry, data analysis, and basic arithmetic.
(2) Reasoning Through Language Arts (RLA) – Assesses reading comprehension, writing skills, and grammar.
(3) Science – Includes topics from life science, physical science, and earth and space science.
(4)Social Studies – Focuses on U.S. history, civics and government, economics, and geography.
The GED is designed to measure high school-level knowledge and critical thinking skills, allowing individuals to pursue higher education or career opportunities.
*Scoring & Passing Criteria
-Each section is scored from 100 to 200 points.
-A minimum score of 145 per subject is required to pass.
-A score of 165-174 indicates college readiness, while 175-200 may earn college credits.
